From our founder: I grew up all around TVA. Would see Brown's Ferry every time we went tubing. Would drive over Wilson Dam and Wheeler Dam countless times headed back and forth from Alabama to Ole Miss. While I didn't think too much of the whole public works part of it, TVA was huge.
It modernized the valley. It gave my grandparents light. It cut malaria. It increased crop yields. It was a game changer. (And if you want to see some good old fashioned pamphleteering, check this out.)
So we made this print based on a sign hanging in the FDR Library. In honor of the power that powered us to excel in the Valley.
