“I wish I could say that I went in and ran for the winning touchdown, but I did not. I simply stood by in case my team needed me.” -E. King Gill

January, 1922. Coach Dana X. Bible and The Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas are getting beat up – Centre College is taking it to the boys from A&M in the Dixie Classic. Fearing that he is running out of men, Coach looks up into the stand. Squints. Yells up and gets E. King Gill. He runs down and puts on the uniform of an injured boy. It's sweaty and bloody and doesn’t fit at all, but Gill's been called to go in for a family in need. The Aggies prevail. Gill is the only player left standing on the sideline.

Almost a century later, the A&M faithful haven't sat down yet.

Sophisticated and Fun

This is my absolute favorite print in my home! My husband and I are HUGE Aggies. I reallly care about the sophistication of anything Aggie-related in our home, and this fit the bill perfectly. It's subtle and I love that it makes people ask questions about it as they figure out it's meaning. A true treasure, and always a great opportunity for me to bring up my love for The Old Try!

I gave this to my oldest for some reason a while back... it is framed and hanging by his diploma......... such pride is shown by them all...

This print is all class. Nice show of A&M pride, but really subtle. Fun to see how many people ask about it and how many get it automatically.

Texas [A&M] Forever

Aggies are always looking for unique ways to separate themselves from anything mainstream and this print delivers. Not to mention it is always a conversation piece when we have guests over at the house. Side note: I make sure to brag when fellow Ags get the reference immediately whereas alum from other Texas Universities struggle a little bit.
