Got this for my dad, aka the man who already has everything, and he was absolutely speechless. He loved it!

My Law Hoo husband loves this print. It's hanging in our family room opposite my "Down with the Heathens" Sewanee print. Old Try is clever, their prints are high quality, and I feel good buying from a small business. I'm so glad we got this hung up before the sad events in Charlottesville.

This was exactly what the doctor ordered (black frame, with mat)! My wife, a "triple hoo," greeted this with tears of joy when she unfurled the last bits of the brown paper wrapper in which it came expertly packaged. Framing is always expensive but it's worth every penny to secure the quality of the piece over a long period of time. This is our second successful Old Try purchase. I am sure there are more to come. You ever hear the phrase, "mama didn't raise no dummy?"
Well, I'm the aforementioned "not dummy" that mama raised, and while I was not quite far enough out of the woods to get into UVA, I knew well enough to ask one of them Wahoos to marry me. And wouldn't you know it? By all things Jefferson that gal said yes. And one Christmas she received this print, which now sits framed with her diploma, still rolled, resting atop.
We've now got three little ones who all know the UVA fight song, but couldn't sing you a note of my college's fight song. But let's be honest, if I have them striving for a university, UVA is a good choice. Heck, my kids even know the "good ole song" for the school. Then again, we all do because it's freaking Auld Lang Syne, which everybody knows. For such a prestigious university, it seems pretty arrogant to hijack Auld Lang Syne for your school song. But I wouldn't say that to my Wahoo wife, mind you.
