In 4th grade, I was Tombigbee.
It was Mrs. Ford’s class, and we were all assigned a river in the state. We had to play them and mine was on the Great State Seal and I was going to play it with conviction, man. So I did. And so did the other kids, giving life to the major and minor rivers and tributaries and brackish waterways and watersheds of Alabama.
Some of those rivers changed history. Some of the bridges did, too.

I'm not a native of Alabama but both of my kids were born and raised here and I helped both memorize the rivers of Alabama. This print works well with other Alabama prints or is gorgeous on its own-no matter what state you live in!
This print reminds me of my youth when I babysat for a family with a huge map of Alabama showing all of the rivers. I was always fascinated by that map and now I have one of my own!
