I moved to Durham in ’03, and that first day I took a run around East Campus. I then went through the tunnel over into the main campus: I’d never seen anything like it. The buildings were amazing and the grounds were perfect and since I’m married to a Tar Heel that’s all I can say about it. 

While I’ve now got great disdain for y’all’s school that I didn't have in ’03, I will say the Blue Devils mascot origin story is kind of bad ass. So while I pull against Duke in everything, I can’t hate a good story. It just isn’t in my blood (which now bleeds Carolina Blue).
