Bull City

In the Carolina piedmont, there’s a city made from tobacco.

Filled with old storehouses and old factories and old water towers, all paying homage to what made that state what it is today. I was a Durham resident two years – living, working, and falling in love in former tobacco buildings. And while I’ve left Durham, I’m not far from the shadow of the old bull on Pettigrew Street.

Durm

I moved from Memphis to Durham in 2013. Durham reminded me so much of home. Gritty. Rough around the edges. Misunderstood. I've since moved home and still think about that Bull Durham sign lighting up the downtown sky at night and this print reminds me of all the great memories I had in the Bull City.
