I found this great old map – part of an otherwise technocratic report for the Army Corps of Engineers. Harold Fisk’s maps of the historical traces of the Mississippi River are a wonderful surprise. There are 15 of them, and I think plate 7 is the best of the best.

Beautiful print. Love the colors and seeing how much the Mississippi had changed when the original was published.
Love this print! Nice matte colors. Have it hanging in my office. Just a warning, I dropped it while initially setting it up in a magnetic frame. Some how the 2 ft fall to the floor caused it to create a tear on its own in the paper. Only about 2 - 3 mm on the white border, so it's not noticable unless you know where to look. I recommend putting it in a full frame behind glass.
If you're looking for something interesting to spice up the wall, this river trace map is just the thing. The colors are vibrant and it's a stunner in frame.
