Friday Quote.

This was scheduled to be posted a year ago. I thought “I’ll wait a couple of weeks and the sickness will pass” and then I’d get back to normal. So, so very much has changed in a year. So many things that I chose not to see (racial and health and economic inequality amongst them) have been brought to the foreground and have occupied more space in our family conversations and in our actions. And this line, seen through a new lens focusing over a year, just hits different. It has been a long, hard year and a year to ask a lot more questions. And it is a year that has, sadly, been denied to many. #letterboardfridays
