Come & Take It
Everybody loves a good rallying cry.
Come and Take It was first used in America back in 1778 in Georgia, yelled at the Brits. And then again during the battle of Gonzales, in 1835, when the Texans were yelling at the Mexicans. But heck, each one of those are just ripoffs of something King Leonidas I yelled back in 480BC to the Persians when they told the Spartans to surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae. I reckon one of the Texas boys was an illustrator with spare time & extra fabric that resulted in a mighty fine flag.
We decided to go and make it.
