Mom & 'em.

When we were colleagues, I texted @mrsoldtry if she wanted to go out to dinner. She said 'I didn't know people texted to ask for dates.' When we were courting, I asked her if she'd marry me (with that print above our bed.) She said 'I will.' When we were celebrating our paper anniversary, I asked her if she'd start a business with me. She said 'I don't know if folks will buy these things, but I'm in.' When we were knee deep in prints and business, we got pregnant. I said 'I don't know what we’re doing' and she said 'We'll be okay,' She brought a little girl into the world that brightened it up. And then a little dude who added some danger. Of all the seasons in life I've known her, this season – with all its trials and triumphs – impresses me most. Here's to Mini Pappas, first of her name – Buyer of arts, Coacher of lacrosse, Founder of non profits, Accepter of faults, Forgiver of shortcomings, Mother of Whitsons.
