Three London Company ships set out in 1606.
Searching for new lands and new opportunities. Fighting the waves and the demons on the open seas. Scanning the horizon for a break in the blue. After a dozen dozen days, they found one. The First Landing, there at Jamestown in the Virginia colony, was monumental. 105 men and 39 sailors, wet and tired and scared and hungry rushed aground, to kiss the Southern dirt. Right there on the shore they erected a cross. And thanked the good Lord that they’d made it home.
